About

“The true laboratory is the mind, where behind illusions we uncover the laws of truth.”— Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose.

Hello! I am Anirban Bhaduri. I received my Ph.D. in mathematics at University of South Carolina in 2026 under the supervision of Matthew Ballard. Before this, I obtained my B.Sc. Honours and M.Sc. degree from University of Calcutta. Here is my C.V..

My research focuses are algebraic geometry, representation theory and noncommutative algebras . I am interested in questions that relate to:

  • Representation theory of quivers and path algebras;
  • Coherent sheaves on weighted projective lines;
  • Complexity of triangulated categories via dimensions, generation, and Orlov spectrum;
  • Non-commutative algebraic geometry and differential graded algebra
  • ….

In recent times, I have grown interest in formalization in LEAN. In July 2026, I attended a summer school on formalization in LEAN at ICARM. In Spring 2027, I will be attending AxIOM “Building the Mathematical Library of the Future” at SLMath.

My email is anirbanbhaduri1905 ‘at’ gmail ‘dot’ com.
